The Association currently has approximately 180 members working approximately 6,000 ha (hectares) of vineyards (more than 12% of the area under vines in the Region) and incorporates companies linked to the wine-producing sector.

The membership base of ADVID is business-oriented and its members account for 55% of the turnover generated by the Port Wine sector.

Some of the main stakeholders of the Douro Region’s wine production process are particularly prominent ADVID members, including Adriano Ramos-Pinto, Vinhos, S.A., C.ª Geral da Agricultura das Vinhas do Alto Douro, Churchill Graham, Lda., Niepoort (Vinhos), S.A., Quinta do Noval Vinhos, S.A., Rozès, S.A., Sogevinus Fine Wines, S.A., Sogrape Vinhos, S.A., W. & J. Graham & C.ª, S.A. and Sociedade Vinícola Terras de Valdigem, S.A.

It should be noted that a substantial part of the recognition and success achieved by ADVID throughout its existence results from the commitment of its members, the ongoing contribution and commitment of its technicians in initiatives promoted by the association, and the continued support and cooperation provided by all, enabling the formation of a working team that is increasingly able to meet the most demanding challenges of viniculture.
