PRR - Vine & Wine PT: Agrob - Development of new robots for monitoring, fertilisation and selective grape harvesting

PRR - Vine & Wine PT: Agrob - Development of new robots for monitoring, fertilisation and selective grape harvesting
The goal of Agrob is to develop robotic solutions for the execution of tasks that correspond to the most pressing needs in the wine-gowing sector.
In this sense, given that some of the biggest challenges are the lack of labour, the cost of available labour, the reduction in the use of production factors and environmental concerns, robotic solutions will be developed not only for monitoring the vineyard in order to optimise the management of cultural operations, but also for carrying out different tasks such as fertilisation, spraying and selective harvesting.

This is a sub-project of the PRR Mobilising Agenda - Vine & Wine PT - "Vine and Wine Portugal - Driving Sustainable Growth Through Smart Innovation", to be implemented between January 2023 and December 2025, coordinated by UTAD in partnership with ADVID/CoLAB VINES&WINES, INESC-TEC, Aveleda, S.A., Murças, S.A. and Herculano.
