Good agricultural practices for biodiversity in the context of climate change

Promoting the adoption of good agricultural practices that increase biodiversity on farms adapted to the different national agricultural realities, as an important contribution to mitigating and adapting to the effects of climate change, is the main goal of this project.
The project is coordinated by CAP - Confederação dos Agricultores de Portugal (Confederation of Portuguese Farmers), with the participation of ADVID, SPEA - Sociedade Portuguesa para o Estudo das Aves (Portuguese Society for the Study of Birds), LPN - Liga para a Protecção da Natureza (League for the Protection of Nature) and GPP - Gabinete de planeamento e Políticas (Planning and Policies Office). Quinta de Murças, Quinta de D. Matilde and Symington Family Estates are participating as stakeholders.

As part of the project, a Non-Technical Report was produced presenting the main results of the project and a proposal for measures to encourage farmers to adopt good biodiversity-promoting practices as part of the PAC's Green Architecture.
