EUPORIAS project - climate forecasting services

The main goal of the EUPORIAS project was to develop climate forecasting services for seasonal to decennial periods, to enable certain economic sectors to maximise their ability to deal with climate variability and change.

ADVID participated in this project as a stakeholder for the viticulture sector, in order to help make the forecasts more appropriate to the sector's needs and to quickly publicise the project's results to professionals.
This project was funded under the Seventh Framework Programme for R&D (FP7), led by the English MetOffice and coordinated in Portugal by the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon.
