EPAWI - European Partnership for Auxiliary Wine industry Innovation
EPAWI - European Partnership for Auxiliary Wine industry Innovation - is a project that gathers 4 clusters (Inno'vin, AgroFood & Bioeconomy agency, INNOVI and ADVID), representing a major part of the wine ecosystems in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, where 80% of the European wine production and the auxiliary industry, services and research are based.
The main objective of this project is to launch and consolidate the Wine Innovation Cluster Alliance - WICA, an European strategy for innovation in the grape&wine value chain, which will promote the internationalization of the auxiliary companies of the wine industry through the creation of a network of SMEs with the purpose of knowing the market and its innovation trends.
North-American, Chilean and Argentinian wine production sectors are the first targets to build win-win cooperation - a real chance for systemic shift with tangible impacts in reshaping the wine sector in face of its key challenges.
This project was funded by the European Union’s COSME Programme.
