OmicBots aims to develop a technological solution for an economically efficient and ecologically sustainable vineyard. For this purpose, this project will create an automatic platform to integrate robotics-assisted smart-photonics sensors, with artificial intelligence and systems biology (in-silico), where grapevine metabolic pathways can be explored, to better comprehend how field grapevine physiology/metabolism are driven by the interaction of GenotypexEnvironmentxPractices.

Funded by FCT, this project also aims to develop a case study in the Douro, a very vulnerable region to climate change.
